The Superintendent’s Secretary / Child Nutrition Director serves in a dual capacity, managing executive administrative operations for the district's central office while directing overall food service operations. In the administrative role, this position provides direct executive support to the Superintendent, and assists with daily district administration. Concurrently, as Child Nutrition Director, the individual oversees the administration, budgeting, and menu planning for the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs in full compliance with USDA regulations and Arkansas Department of Education standards. Responsibilities include submitting monthly state reimbursement claims, managing food procurement and inventory, enforcing health and safety protocols under Arkansas Child Nutrition Unit Guidelines, operating point-of-sale reporting software, and working with food service providers. Candidates must possess strong organizational skills, maintain strict confidentiality, and satisfy ADE Child Nutrition Director hiring and certification requirements.
